Justin Bieber has Lego hair

Many celebrities have attempted it.  One manchild has perfected it.  Ladies and gentlemen…Justin Bieber has amazing Lego hair.

Look at it...his head is like a dipped cone from Dairy Queen. A perfectly molded shell of hair.

Justin Bieber has done what Zac Effron, Pete Wentz, and the entire Kennedy family failed to do.  Justin Bieber has transformed this hideous hairstyle into a mainstream pop culture phenomenon.  While the cut is annoying and awful, not since the actual Lego people has this hairstyle been pulled off so effortlessly.

The “Bieber Cap” has attracted a lot of celebrity attention recently.  A few of these celebrities have even tried to sport this questionable look, including:

New England Patriots quarterback, Tom Brady.

Close to perfection, however Tammy...I mean Tom, falls just a little bit short on the execution.

Juno star, Ellen Page

Other than the slight flaw in the hair, I really don't see the difference between Bieber and Page. They should date.

Friends star, David Schwimmer

Nice try Ross. It's like he's attempting the "Bieber Cap" and Farrah Fawcett feather hair all at once.

The Beatles

John, Ringo and Paul almost have it. George is way off. This is clearly a case of "Beatles did it first, Bieber did it best".

ABC News Anchor, Ted Koppel

Wow...he's old.

I have nothing else to offer you on the subject, and I am not trying to add to the growing “Bieber Fever”.  I just thought I’d bring this to your attention so that you can start searching for “Bieber Cap” sightings of your own.  Once again, Justin Bieber has Lego hair.  Thoughts?

Also, if you notice the “Bieber Cap” on any other celebrities…please let me know.  Please know that the official term for this Lego-like hairstyle is indeed the “Bieber Cap”.  You heard it here first, and yes, you can use it.  If you’ve heard it elsewhere then tell me and I’ll see if I care or not.

Jimmy Kimmel…The Show Must Go On!

This is pretty cool. I’m not sure what most Live TV shows would do in this situation, but my best guess is that they would just scrap the whole thing and start fresh the next day. Last night, Jimmy Kimmel was dealing with power outage issues that kept them from being able to broadcast the show as they normally do. Not to be defeated, Kimmel decided he would broadcast the show from his laptop. I’ve read a few articles today saying that this will start a new trend and a few “copycats”…I say, not so much. It worked well for him last night, but I don’t see this as becoming a regular thing.

A few weeks ago, Jimmy Fallon did a thing where you could “Watch Jimmy With Jimmy.” Basically what he did was devise a way for fans to go online and watch Jimmy watch his own show. His show is not taped live, so he has the power to do this. Kind of similar to the Kimmel situation…but mostly not.

The biggest surprise to me is how well his audience and guests reacted to the unorthodox taping. I work with a lot of musicians and I don’t know many that would have agreed to do what his musical guest, Dierks Bentley, did last night. Instead of taking the “diva” route, they stripped the whole thing down and did an acoustic performance in front of the laptop camera.

In all…thumbs up to Kimmel for not letting his fans down. I’m not a regular watcher of the show, but I just might have to become one. I’m loyal to shows that treat their fans well, and he seems to do a great job of that.

Jimmy Kimmel Power Outage

Cayamo… Round 2

I’m waiting to get on the plane to go to Miami to work on the Cayamo Cruise. This will be my second Cayamo event and 9th overall cruise with Sixthman.

Only downside is that I was supposed to play a show tonight but Alan Powell is an awesome individual and is filling in for me. SLA will kill it tonight once again in Greenville, SC. We are in Charlotte, NC next weekend. Good times will be had.
